About

The Road to the Present

Welcome to Rundlett.com. Over 300 years ago, the first Rundlett set foot on the shores of America. Many family members continued to live for generations in the New England area. This is a website by, for, and about Rundletts; their close family and friends who are living plus all the ancestors who we can collectively discover tracing the historical records.

Benefits

Why participate? For recognition, inspiration, and a resource we can all share with the next generation when explaining who we are. This site is intended to be a treasured family resource, especially today when media replaces oral history and family traditions. More and more people are participating in this site. You can too.

There are many resources here including an online interactive and personalized genealogy site, web email (thanks to Google), diaries, photos and more.

So What is This About?

Communication - You can[1] get a free Rundlett.com email address, provided you have some connection to a Rundlett, and you ask nicely.
Sharing - The online photo album offers a way to share your photos with friends and families.
Family - The genealogy resources will hopefully provide useful information for your search into your family origins.

Requirements

This entire website is run by volunteers at their personal expense. Please treat everyone here with respect and kindness that you would expect from family.
Read as much information as possible to find answers to your questions before complaining or shouting at someone.
Sharing - This site is based on sharing and community. Individual authors retain copyright on their graphics (with limited exceptions, see submission guidelines), but we ask you release your contributions under a Creative Commons license identical to the one on this site so that others may learn from and expand on your work.

Participation

All features and contents of this site are free. There is no catch. There is no commercial agenda. The site is graciously put together by Greg Rundlett in his spare time, and the volunteers who make it their home on the Internet.
You are invited to join in the fun. Simply view the different sections of the site, and participate as you see fit. If you have family tree information, then you might want to check out the Family Tree section.
