Yes, we did make it to the beach this summer. Quite a few times actually. I remember when I was growing up in Narragansett that I would go to the beach just about every day. Even when we lived in Providence while I was in 7th, 8th and 9th grade, we went to the beach just about every day of the summer because my father was the Youth Program Director at the Salvation Army. We've lived in Newburyport for the past 8 years, and it is easy to take for granted that the beach is so close, so you don't end up going -- because you can go any time you want to. This summer we made it more of a part of our plans and really enjoyed it.
