When you're going to make a full day out of going to a Patriots Football game, you might want to let someone else do the cooking instead of trying to play with fire in the parking lot.

I was surprised that Google's map didn't show much information when searching for places to eat in the vicinity, so I created a map of places to eat around Gillette Stadium.

For me it looks like Jimmy's Pub and Restaurant is exactly what I was looking for.

As for the game, we'll be sitting in the lower left corner of this illustration, section 239 (red) which is facing South (yay sun) and facing the Patriots sideline so we should have a good view of the players and coaches.
